interesting facts and music

So I learned a rather interesting fact the other day. In London at Abbey Road Studio's, where the Beatles made some of their records, there is a huge white brick wall surrounding the place. On the wall people are allowed to write anything they want. The wall gets filled up every week with love letters, song lyrics, and just other stuff and has to be repainted every week. I found this to be amazing because if that happened pretty much anywhere else it would be considered vandalism, but at Abbey Road Studio's they see it as a work of art. So now on to the music part of my post. The other day I went to Tater's because the Oasis cd I ordered, way back in early March, finally came in. I absolutely love the cd, it was well worth the wait, just for the 3 songs I bought it for. Songbird, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, and Little By Little were the 3 songs I bought the cd for, but after listening to it all the way through I'm glad I bought it. I also bought Kings Of Leon's newest cd "Only By The Night", because I had heard so much about from Rolling Stone and some friends, that I decided to buy it. Its pretty good, maybe not as good as all the hype I had heard but it was good. I also got She and Him's cd Vol. 1, I had ordered this to because I had heard it was a very good cd. The guy who is "Him" also produced the record, and is an indie rock icon, M. Ward. He's worked with so many amazing indie bands and made several records himself that are all good, so I wasn't surprised that I liked the album. I also got U2's No Line On The Horizon, their newest effort, and I wasn't too impressed with it. It's not got the instant, makes you love this album, thing to it. I only really liked two of the songs at first, but after listening to it once more, I'm finding myself humming some of the songs even as I type this blog. Maybe its one of those records that grows on you after you listen a few times. I did order a few cd's that after my phone vibrated 2nd period, due to a call from Tater's, I know I can go get after school. I ordered Fleet Foxes self-titled debut, Rise Against's Sufferer and the Witness, Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, my original skips, and the movie The Wall. I'll probably have to order some today, because their indie rock and he doesn't keep them in stock as much. I'm planning on ordering Of Montreal's Skeletal Jumping, My Morning Jacket's newest cd, Kings Of Leon's other cd, and MGMT's Oracular Spectacular. I'm hoping he'll have them, but I seriously doubt it.
